What we collect now
- We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies at this time.
- If you sign up for email alerts, we keep your email address and the alerts you chose. We use them only to send those alerts, every email has an unsubscribe link, and we never sell or share your address. - Our web server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to keep the site running and secure. [Owner: state how long logs are kept.]
- If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is stored in your own browser (local storage) and is not sent to us.
- Pages may load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font is downloaded. [Owner: remove this line once fonts are self-hosted.]
- If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply and to fix the page you reported.
What may change
In the future we may add:
- Advertising (for example Google AdSense), which may use cookies to show and measure ads. If we do, this policy will explain the choices you have, including how to opt out of personalised ads.
- Affiliate links, which may tell the partner site that you came from us.
